Get Involved

As a small, charitable organisation, Dunrunnin would be unable to exist without the support of people like you. With your help, we are able to take the best care of each greyhound and help them find their forever home.

Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, making a donation is easy-peasy. You can also send our dogs a present using our Amazon wish list. And we can always use an extra pair of hands if you have a spare hour or two.

Anything you are able to give will make a real difference to our hounds. Please help these super dogs find their perfect retirement sofa.

Please support us by making a donation

Make a Donation

We can now accept online donations via Visa, Mastercard or Maestro through our BT MyDonate page. You can choose to make a one-off gift or a regular donation. Every little really does help; just £1.50 will buy a treat for every dog in our kennel.

BT does not receive any money from your donation (they sponsor the site to keep our costs down). You do not have to create an account to donate and we at Dunrunnin will never use your details to send you spam. For more information about BT MyDonate, please see these FAQs.

Become a volunteer

We are always looking for new people to join our small workforce of volunteers! We’re incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by all of our team, but our work is never done – there are always dogs to walk, pooches to groom, walls to paint and kennels to mend! So if you have a few hours to spare now and again, why not pop in and see us?

Volunteer in woods

Lots of our volunteers come on a weekly basis, for a few hours at a time, but there’s no minimum requirement and we always love to see new faces! So, even if you’re only able to visit once every few months, you’ll always receive a very warm welcome from the DunRunnin team, and from our Greyhounds!

The kettle is always on in the DunRunnin Tea Hut, and Karen maintains an endless supply of biscuits to keep you coming back for more

Most of our volunteers come and walk dogs in the beautiful woods next to our kennels. Additionally, if you can offer help with any of the following, we would love to hear from you:

  • Taking photos of the dogs for the website
  • Replacing our outdoor paddocks
  • Updating our decrepit plumbing!

In return, we can offer plenty of tea, biscuits, and hugs from our four-legged residents!
