Poor Kenny was found starving and abandoned on a roundabout. He desperately needed a space in rescue, and we couldn't bear to turn him away, so we bent our usual 'greyhounds-only' rule and made room for a lurcher. Despite his background, Kenny is a happy dog who is quickly becoming a kennel favourite. He's very affectionate, loves a hug and a fuss, and can most often be found playing with his kennel-mate in the paddocks. He does have more energy than our greyhounds, so he'd be an ideal jogging partner or addition to the family football team. As well, he likes to have a job and is keen to please his person, so we think he'd be good at agility or something similar.
Kenny recently ran the Blackheath 5k with our volunteer, Lou. Find out how they did!
