How Dunrunnin is responding to the coronavirus outbreak

We are taking the threat posed by COVID-19 seriously and are closely monitoring the UK Government’s advice. As always, we are committed to the wellbeing of our greyhounds and are working hard to provide them with the best possible care.

Dunrunnin is currently closed to the public

We are not rehoming dogs at this time, and we are not open for visitors.

It is essential that our team stay healthy so we can continue to care for our hounds until a time when we can re-open our doors to visitors.

If you are looking to give one of our hounds a home, you are welcome to apply now so that we have everything we need in place ready for when we reopen. Please familiarise yourself with our adoption process, and fill in a pre-adoption questionnaire here.

How can I help?

We are so grateful for all the offers of support we have had over the last few weeks. Although we are closed to the public, our existing staff and volunteers are working hard to make sure our greyhounds are fed, walked and loved on a daily basis.

Like all small organisations, this is an incredibly difficult time for us. The best way for you to help right now is to donate items from our Amazon wishlist, or contact us to find out how to make a donation by bank transfer. Dunrunnin receives no government funding and we need your help to continue our work.

Thank you all for your support and understanding. We welcome any questions by email. We hope that all our supporters are remaining safe and hope to welcome you to the kennels again soon.
